There will be only one Selectboard meeting in October. It will take place on October 6, 2025 at Town Hall starting at 6:30 p.m.
Rutland County Solid Waste District will sponsor free Household Hazardous Waste collection day at the Transfer Station on September 20th in 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Selectboard Meetings - First and Third Monday of Each Month at 6:30 p.m. In September - the meetings are Tuesday, Sept 2 at Town Hall and Monday, September 15 at the East Wallingford Fire Station.
Town Hall Community Cupboard Open Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00 a.m. to noon.
Wallingford Standard deadline for submissions - the 23rd day of each month.

Pike Industries will be paving Meacham Street, two sections of Church Street and a section of Pembroke Lane (in that order) the week of September 1st….likely September 4th or 5th. Parameter E. coli Site: Elfin Lake Date Sampled: July 16, 2025 Result 36 Units MPN/100 mL NOTE: The Vermont Department of Health has reevaluated and updated its recreational swimming water recommendation for E.coli bacteria to less than 235 MPN/100 mL.
With this result, Elfin Lake is well below the state’s E.coli bacteria threshold.
This beloved statue has been beautifully restored and will be permanently moved to Town Hall the week of September 1st. It’ll be good to have the Boy With the Boot home again.
The Walingford Selectboard is in the process of establishing a Capital Fund Committee for the purpose of prioritizing Town projects; establishing a funding schedule; and making recommendations for 5-year and 10-year plans for Capital purchases.

A friendly reminder to Town of Wallingford residents, outdoor burning is regulated by state law. Any outdoor burning in the Town of Wallingford must be approved by the Town Fire Warden or Deputy Fire Warden. Burn permits are required. Transfer station employees would like to remind Wallingford residents Zero Sort can only accept cardboard 36 inches or less. Larger than 36 inches clogs up the unit. Transfer station employees would appreciate it if residents cut down cardboard to the appropriate size before you arrive at the facility as it will help operations flow smoothly and employees are not given that task.
